Multihull World are showing two Corsair trimarans, the Pulse 600 and Cruze 970
Corsair Pulse 600. Nominated for European yacht of the year 2016 and winner of the US magazine Sail Best Boats Award 2016 the Corsair Pulse 600 is a tour de force in innovation.
With double carbon ring frame for strength and rigidity, lightweight carbon reinforced construction and reverse bows with high volume floats, she carries a generous sail plan for exhilarating coastal day sailing. Versatility is a key feature of the boat and the forward area provides enough storage and cover for day sailing / weekend adventures or can simply be left empty for go-fast racing. She is practical, easy to fold on and off the water, with a self draining cockpit, but most of all the Pulse 600 is a sports boat that is all about pure fun…
Corsair Cruze 970 provides a level of comfort and amenities similar to those found on the larger C37, including full standing headroom in the saloon area and a fully enclosed heads compartment and shower. The saloon is finished with a white GRP liner while the galley provides plenty of drawers and storage and the bunks are generously proportioned providing comfortable accommodation for crew.
The cockpit is large, and elevated side seating, another feature taken from the C37, provides a comfortable and exciting view of the sailing action. Corsair’s trusted folding system remains unchanged, and remarkably simple for such a large boat, and she folds to within the European legal towing limit without disassembly. A retractable dagger board and rudder enable the boat to be floated in just twelve inches of water at launch, or pushed up onto the beach when enjoying cruising adventures with family and friends.
